Story Telling
Human beings have been communicating with each other through storytelling since we lived in caves and sat around campfires exchanging tales. What is new today about the art of telling stories is the purposeful use of narrative to achieve a practical outcome with an individual, a community, or an organisation. We pride themselves in being able to communicate through stories. Throughout our history we have used both real and fictional stories to share a view, express a value or simply to engage an audience.
Some of our stories can be found in 'Campfire-Ology' in the publications page of the website. They include:
The Banana Story - to emphasise the power of a corporate culture
Why we hate Mondays - a team story where they describe what happens on a Mionday morning and then work through what they would like to happen. Quickly they understand that they are responsible for their own attitudes and behaviours.
The Birthday - Helping a bank understand what emotions they need to evoke to differentiate themselves in the High Street.
As Human Beings we love to hear and tell stories - some believe that this is the only practical way to communicate and for the retention of information. Certainly it is the only way to share a vision or express a value in a believable way.
We will help you to tell your stories, to engage your people and to articulate your visions for the future.
